Wamsutter Oolitic Chert is associated with the Green River
Formation of the Wyoming Basin and in northwestern Colorado. Primary
outcroppings occur along the prehistoric shoreline of the Washakie
Basin, Wyoming and near Wamsutter, Wyoming.
